I think Kidd mistook Shanks for Pranks, in my opinion it would have made sense for him to defeat Shanks or at least be able to do it since I think the worst generation will surpass that of the generation of the legends,

But Pranks makes a ton more sense since Kidd seems to hate the nobility of the world

Due to circumstances, MC tax and Luffy being present at Wano, he ended up mainly fighitng Big Mom..


You forget Kidd was going to fight Kaido WITH or WITHOUT Luffy.

Yes he would never work under BB. And I don't see Kidd wasting time going after Shanks's allies. What allies would challenge Kidd anyway? The only reason why he fired at the ships at Elbaf was because they were in his way and firing at him themselves. If he has an opportunity to go head to head vs Shanks he will.

Remember, Kidd was willing to fight Kaido to his death when he first Landed.
