Which member did he fight in specific? According to Sengoku, Garp and Roger are the ones who stopped the rocks pirate. Not a single member of the Rocks pirate has ever mentioned Garland or anything. Seems like goofy headcanon to me
He became famous specifically from his actions at God Valley, was very clearly stated that that is where he differentiated himself and became the leader. There is no other way to distinguish yourself in a giant battle except by participating in the battle.

Nope he was the champion of the God valley hunting games. He killed women and children and that´s it as far as we know based on the manga and Sengokus statement.

I know is still in the air, but before you said is headcanon, three things:

1. Back in the days people though it was Roger, in the same conversation, WB mentioned Roger by his actual name, why say "HIM" so dramatic and mysterious.

2. After Garling revelation, people asumed it was him that WB refered. But others still claimed that Garling doesn't looks like Shanks at all. Then Oda drew young Garling and it was just like Shanks.

3. Too much coincidence for both young Garling and young Whitebeard being in God Valley. "But that doesn't mean they fought" chapters later Oda show how Garling was an active combatant too.

It´s possible Garling gave him a scar, but it wasn´t at god valley. Whitebeard doesn´t have the scar in Odens flashback.

As much as I wish this to be true, I do not think Lolda had Garling planned this early.

It’s irrelevant speculation. That panel was drawn 20 years ago. Whitebeard is shown without scars after God Valley in the Oden flashbacks.

Before people start glazing a woman of all things for knocking out a top tier, let’s not forget that Sea stone doesn’t just shut down df users’s powers… it also makes them physically weaker than their base form AND IT SHUTS OFF THEIR HAKI TOO

Anyway I’m surprised that Shamrock wasn’t lying about making Loki a celestial dragon

I’m assuming this is a “by marriage” type of thing… the 19 families who form the celestial dragons are the same. We have not been told that Another family was added or replaced… So this practice of making outsider celestial dragons must be done through marriage… Loki would have to join one of the 19 celestial dragon families by marriage (or maybe by adoption)

Also the more they keep saying how evil Loki was and supposedly how good Harald was the more I’m thinking it’s the exact opposite

lastly, what happened to Little Oars Jr? Is he dead? Is that why the giants say there’s no more pure blood ancient Giants, Little oars Jr died?

Btw, my personal fan theory about god valley(just saying for fun), is that WB betrayed the rocks pirates. This is why kaido says that pirates always betray eachother. In the Kuma flashback, he was shown not really respecting Rocks, and we know he is buddies with Roger. But again, it is possible Wb and Garling fought again later.

But seriously, if HK are the actual villains this arc and Loki is an shp ally,

Then Shamrock about to be above Kaido and the rest of the HK all about to be commander level lol. Like multiple HK would have to be above YC1 level to match Loki, Zolo, Lanji and Dorry Brogy etc.

And Shamrock would be easily above Kaido if he pushes goofy to high diff or above.

That's just insane.

So i really don't think HK are elbaf villains. It's all misdirection. Loki will end up becoming the arc villain is my bet.
Kid’s gonna have a backstory with Shamrock

it would explain why he targeted Shanks over the timeskip
