I thought zoro and kizaru would clash setting up a future fight (this is prior to nasjuro coming as this happened with nasjuro)

Guess that Shamrock was involved in Harald’s death (negotiations over Elbaf joining the World Gov, Harald either being naive or not the great guy that everyone thinks), and Loki’s went after Shanks by mistake for revenge. Shamrock teleports away, Jarul runs in and sees loads of dead people and Loki, assumes it was Loki’s fault. And that Shamrock can teleport back and forth from the castle because he’s been there before.

If Gaban is there -still not enthusiastic about it- it’s to explain Shanks background and God’s Valley.

I’m not too bothered about Shanks having a brother. It wouldn’t make much sense for Garling to just give up the Figarland heir to a pirate if there was no replacement. But yes, it is cheap how alike they look, down to the facial hair.

Probably to throw the reader Shank was playing dual role by acting necessary evil. To show he was Good Pirate and in fact he was evil along . People thought Shanks was Aizen playing mind games by acting as Marineford savior .


I would definitely be interested if Shanks had such personality he would have been interesting character . In the end Oda bought in Evil twin plot so that Luffy should not confront Shanks directly I don’t think this will ever happen he chickened out big time by avoiding the Evil shanks plot by introducing he has evil twin .

Kaido was literally an awakened Zoan, he had the koi fish fruit which when awakened turns into a dragon. Big Mom’s awakening allowed her to exchange soul power/lifeforce to heal her own body.
