Speculations Mihawk was a world noble but relinquished the status willingly

I believe that even within the holy land of Mareijoise, not all 20 families are equal but the Nerona and Figarland families have more influence than the rest.

With other families like the Ethan Baron, Topman, Jay Garcia, Markus and the Sheppard families all having a bit more influence than say Rosward’s(Charles’ father)family or the Donquixote or Manmayer families and if Lily had joined the Nefertari would be up there with the Figarlands.

I believe that the leadership of the God Knights always falls to either of the top 2 families with it falling to a Nerona 300 years ago(Sora from the Germa 66 comic strip) who stopped the North Blue Germa takeover single-handedly.

In my opinion Mihawk’s real name is not Mihawk but that is a name he took after leaving Mareijoice at a very young age.

Why did he leave? To seek Roger, the strongest swordsman at the time, he was trained by Nasujuro and Garling along with Shamrock but quickly realized he’s learned everything they could offer and staying with the world nobles will stunt his growth, so he went out to sea in order to seek strong swordsmen and heard of Roger so during his quest he ended up being the marine hunter but before he could get the chance to fight Roger, Roger dies at Loguetown so he seeks a new challenge and that’s where he encountered Shanks and their legendary duels started.

I believe that before Roger, the strongest swordsman was Rocks D. Xebec because I believe he was a swordsman too and didn’t possess a devil fruit, and that his fighting style was similar to Roger and Shanks.

How powerful do I think current Mihawk? Stronger than Roger and Rocks who are relative to each other, he and Shanks surpassed their predecessors and he is >=Shanks where if Shanks had both arms they would’ve been equal

Yup it is interesting.

Btw the only reason in went through that mental gymnastics is because my agenda is for Sanji to fight an opponent who is Yonko level at least and for him to regain his raid suit and achieve conqueror’s infusion.

With the currently known candidates expected for him to fight, non of them are stronger than Big Mom or Kaido(Kizaru, Gorosie member x, Laffite or whichever BB pirate) while Zoro is guaranteed a Yonko level fight in Mihawk EOS.

So the only way for me to realize my agenda is for some unknown force to be the final villain and to have someone as powerful as a Yonko for Sanji as an opponent.

And don’t misunderstand me I’m no Sanji fan but I need him to step up for my real goat Luffy, because him acquiring the strongest pirate crew in history will make him way more goated

The one time he did, he mentioned marines, not Holy Knights nor CP.
This theory states he relinquished his titel (meaning he need to be like atleast not pant shitting kid of the point)
We also have a former relinquished CD, as of Doffy. Who was he linked to? The gorosei, who did his bidding. They even send a marine to help him

Nothing ties Mihawk to nobility, let alone CDs

Because the places of birth are listed for everyone being what sea they are from or the grandline

The whole thing with Mihawk being a former World Noble or him being part of the Nerona Family kind of feels forced.

They look at the Figarland Family and the whole thing with Shanks being a former World Noble, and they think that Mihawk should be the same thing.

It is basically oh Shanks was a former World Noble, so Mihawk should be a former World Noble as well.

Yeah the new character vivre cards. Apparently he's the only one who doesn't have a place of birth listed

Shanks is listed as West Blue (likely god valley) for example

Wouldnt shanks be conceived at mary joa, tho, or even somewhere else, and definitely not god valley?
in the Volume 4 Billion oda wrote for the film red, he said Shanks was 1 year old when they found him the treasure box
Thats what i mean i dont trust that stuff

Yeah but god valley was used for the racism contest and it was also triennial, as in every 3 years, so doesnt even make sense to me that his mother would get pregnant with him from the previous contest
There is often stuff wrong in the vivre cards
But there is also some future info like in bonneys case so who knows i guess

But we know shanks is born in the west blue in the manga as he gives wb the drink from his home town.

I always thought thats a more where a "true" home is, like similar how Franky considers Tom his real dad edit: Like if its confusing, what i mean he grew up in the west blue for the majority time on rogers ship
I took that as in he grew up there as he doesnt feel associated with CD, same reason why he uses Kamusari

Like if its something shanks knows he clearly doesnt want to associate with it, he didnt even tell luffy he is a CD or somewhat associated

He wouldn't have a hometown on Rogers ship also I don't think buggys was the same
