These first, second and third wars where world was destroyed in the first two remind me of Matrix lore where first couple versions of Matrix were destroyed.

Surviving humans = Great Kingdom
Machines = WG
The One = Nika Luffy
Deus ex machina = Imu
Mr. Smith = Gigabeard
 
if it's one thing zoro fans know how to do, it's to dig the hole deeper and deeper even when they could easily escape it.
It's because their problem isn't with people thinking that Ray and Gab are equal, but it's with Gaban or Sanji or any Sanji parallel having any relevance or relativity in anyway shape or form with Zoro or his parallels or even in the story as a whole. Which is ridiculous knowing who Sanji is written to be in the story. That's why they'll always be wrong; if they said Ray is the number 2 and stronger, then that's not even a point of contention but that's not enough for them, they want Oda to completely change how he views certain characters, their importance and dynamics.
