At least Zoro never puts important crew members’ lives on danger and always wins, always is strong and always is right. He is needed for the crew unlike the 5 star hotel chef who played Barbie dressing and learnt to cook c*m instead of training for two years. If Oda did not take pity on him in Wano and give him daddy genes to push him up from gifters level to Yonko commander level, he was going to fight against Daifuku with help from Heat and Wire.
not everyone gets teleported into the island of the worlds greatest swordsman lmfao. Anyway Argue with Luffy

You can just tell Shamrock doesn't have the same aura as Shanks. Compensating with a DF fed sword won't tip the scales either. I assume that after Garling figured out how powerful Shanks has become, in fact more powerful than his first born, he was begging his son to come back and be the true heir of the Figarlands.
You don't have full picture yet

Shamrock hype is next level

 actually crashing out about his self insert crying:Rofl:
Okay back to not-trolling lol (sorry acting like Zoro fan is so much fun, you feel powerful in this forum LOL). I think the person in the hat is Gaban but I do believe it may be a misdirection from Oda’s end too. If not Gaban, Yorki and Shiki are the most prime candidates. Personally, I lean towards Yorki a bit more.

I asked DeepSeek what Shamrock

In the context of *One Piece*, if Shanks’ older twin, Shamrock, wields a sword imbued with the power of the Cerberus Devil Fruit (a mythical Zoan-type fruit granting him the abilities of the three-headed hound of Greek mythology), the most logical character to defeat him would depend on the narrative and thematic elements of the story. Here are a few possibilities:

1. **Monkey D. Luffy**: As the protagonist, Luffy is often the one to take down major antagonists, especially those tied to powerful figures like Shanks. His growth and determination make him a natural candidate to overcome such a formidable foe.

2. **Roronoa Zoro**: Given that Shamrock is a swordsman, Zoro, as the crew’s swordsman and one of the strongest fighters, would be a fitting opponent. A duel between them could highlight Zoro’s growth and his ambition to become the world’s greatest swordsman.

3. **Shanks**: If Shamrock’s existence poses a personal threat or challenge to Shanks, it would make sense for Shanks to confront and defeat his twin, resolving any familial or ideological conflict.

4. **Blackbeard (Marshall D. Teach)**: If Shamrock aligns with or opposes Blackbeard, their clash could serve as a way to showcase Blackbeard’s growing power and ambition, especially if the Cerberus fruit’s abilities are tied to his interests.

5. **Trafalgar Law**: As a fellow swordsman and Devil Fruit user, Law’s strategic mind and the versatility of his Ope Ope no Mi could make him a strong contender to defeat Shamrock.

Ultimately, the choice would depend on the story’s direction and the thematic significance of Shamrock’s character. If he represents a personal challenge to Luffy or Zoro, they would be the most likely candidates to defeat him. If his role is more tied to the broader world of *One Piece*, characters like Shanks or Blackbeard might take center stage.
Okay now ask it what fruit Garling’s sword has in keeping with the theme

None of those characters were people Mihawk was interested in taking down remeber he also said he would kill zoro with his kokuto and ended up sparing him. Jozu blocking nameless one handed slash with zero haki in it doesn't take away anything from the goat. What you are doing is extreme nit picking because Loda really gave nothing away about him in marineford :jordanmf:

also, this dude literally fought east blue zoro and was satisfied...

everyone i mentioned is massively above east blue zoro. so if he was interested in east blue zoro, he's interested in them too. anything else is just cope.

jozu blocking is significant cause that was meant for WB, who mohawk literally glazed before that slash was send. So it getting blocked by a mere commander is embarrassing.

yall wank that ice block feat to high heavens saying mohawk wasn't even trying to cut it. But when he specifically wanks wb's power, and sends forth a slash meant for wb, and gets blocked by a commander, we're supposed to just let that slide?

Why did that slash not cleave jozu in two? if him not trying = ice cut, why did him trying =/= jozu cut?

Just searched Gryphon abilities on Google. A lot of these matches with what we have seen from Shanks so far. Maybe Shanks do have a Gryphon DF sword

Physical abilities
  • Claws, teeth, and tail: Gryphons use their claws, teeth, and tail to attack enemies
  • Speed: Gryphons can fly at high speeds, and can dive at even higher speeds using gravity
  • Strength: Gryphons are strong, with the strength of a lion
  • Adaptability: Gryphons can adapt to extreme weather changes and are flexible enough to fly upside down for a short time
Flight

  • Electric energy: Gryphons can increase their flight speed using electric energy
  • Soaring: Gryphons can soar using the wind current
  • Diving: Gryphons can dive at high speeds using gravity

Treasure detection

  • Sixth sense
In Greek mythology, gryphons were thought to have a sixth sense that allowed them to find gold
  • Treasure protection
In Greek mythology, gryphons were chosen by Zeus to guard the Gold of the North

Other abilities

  • Shapeshifting
Gryphons can absorb genetic material from other creatures to create a new body
  • Intelligence
Gryphons can use their intelligence to understand how to weaken their enemies
OMG SHANKS ALWAYS ASKS FOR INTEL

HE IS GOING TO TRY TO TAKE LUFFY’S BODY

Kizaru’s no-named kick. He got Vegapunk killed too just 10 seconds after talking all high and mighty.

Luffy should have abandoned him in WCI tbh. Maybe even let Judge know about the plan beforehand so that they could watch that loser getting riddled with holes and laugh their a**es off. What value does his life carry compared to those of Nami’s, Robin’s, Zoro’s, Franky’s or Vegapunk’s? He always puts people in danger. Luffy should have made the hard but right choice and let him reunite with his stupid c*nt of mom.
Why do I even waste my time arguing with illiterates?? Come back once you understand the definition of a one-shot.

Legitimate question for you guys: Is Saint Shanks stronger than Shamrock? And if so, why exactly?

@Kurozumi Wiwi @MarineHQ @comrade no trolling please.

I see no reason for him to be weaker than Saint Shanks.

-Saint Shanks and Shamrock are twins, genetically they are basically the same human and thus should have likely inherited the same Haki. You can argue maybe Shamrock doesn’t have future sight or AdCoA which require training, but his CoC should absolutely be the same as Saint Shanks’s or at least similar.

-Shamrock as an active Holy Knight should train. Saint Shanks doesn’t really train at all, he mostly drinks and parties.

-Shamrock isn’t a cripple

-Even if you argue Saint Shanks who utilizes Roger’s fighting style is a more skilled fighter than Shamrock, Shamrock has a sword with a mythical Zoan fruit.

Seriously I can’t see any logical reason for Saint Shanks being stronger than Shamrock other than Saint Shanks just being Oda’s favorite character lol.
