So far we have had: Crocodile betray the WG(alabasta),Kuma betray the WG(sparring Luffy and the SH) Jimbei betray the WG(Impel down), Blackbeard betray the WG(Impel down and Marineford), Boa Hancock betray the WG(helping Luffy), Mihawk betray the WG(harboring Zoro, now no one should know about this tbf), Law betray the WG(alliance with Luffy), Doflamingo betray the WG(birdcage). And now they're doing more then an alliance with a pirate, they're offering a pirate the role of celestial dragon, and they didn't stop at offering it once..................

Honestly, Oda is going Naruto levels with the redemption stuff. Crocodile, Buggy and Hatchi terrorized innocent people for the lols for basically years, making fucking Big Mom and Kaido redeemed is too much. They would literally destroy entire islands just for annoying them by not giving enough sweets on Big moms pirates, or Kaidos top crew mates literally being known for causing calamities wherever they go.
