Luffys Is called that off a mountain of lies. And EVERYONE knows that, nothing of tha sort has been said about Mihawk. Everytime we see him or he’s spoken of, nothing takes away from Tha fact that he’s tha WSS. No inverse speculation, no rumors, nothing. Also, Luffy is only 700mill begins Yonko Teach. And Teach is 2bill behind Shanks
People will cry their souls out when they'll see Shanks true strength. Trolling aside, there's no real reason to downplay Shanks' strength like that. At least it's Shanks~Mihawk.
I never thought about this possibility, I always thought these idiots were simply too cocky and thought they could even take on her children but it is indeed interesting that these bullies only attacked Big Mom's daughter when they knew she's at her weakest state...

It wasn’t based off of a mountain of lies. Most of what Morgans said was true, barring the part about his intelligence and him actually setting up the plan.
I never said that anything took away from his title, just that it wasn’t the be-all-end-all.
I never said he was, I said he probably was. It would be a fair assumption given that it took Garp and Roger to bring him down. But the point of that was to introduce that Whitebeard was the “World’s Strongest Man” despite that Roger and Garp were probably stronger based on their feats. Not by much, but still. It’s not a ridiculous conclusion, and I never said that Mihawk stayed the same strength, only that he didn’t grow near as much as Shanks did, which is factual given Shanks becoming a Yonko.

Biggest takeaway from the entire chapter are not the bounties or Rocks history ...
... it's the fact that Wano is mysteriously tied deeply into the whole lore and history of the world, like Sengku mentioned in that last panel.
There is more to it than we've all expected so far. I bet it also has a lot to do with Toki and her origin in the ancient past (possibly void century).

Dragon probably has a higher bounty than Roger, I wasn't expecting that. I know he's directly opposing the Govt, but shouldn't Roger's be much higher seeing he did what the WG fears the most and discovered the secret of the void century, which WG considers the most forbidden thing to do. He also found Raftel, which no one had succeeded in doing before. Makes me wonder just what kinda beast Dragon really is .
