Not really Z fans got what they always wanted - equal footing with Luffy. Sanji getting elevated isn't much of a L if Zoro is getting elevated as well on par with Luffy.

Dressrosa is a Skypeia parallel. Literally about a false god conquering and controlling a nation. Alabastas parallel was Wano where the plot was based on a missing royal, the utilization of ancient weapons, and the destruction of the capital city to create a pirate nation.

Don't really like about the "destined pirates" thing. But It's clear that Gaban wants to test Luffy's strenght for some reason.
It's also clear that the Roger Pirates have some sort of "Posthumous" plan, maybe the Man with a Burn Scar isn't Gaban, but it would make sense that the Roger Pirates would steal it to give it to especifically to the destined pirates they are still waiting.
