That's all fine and good but Oda isn't writing such an introduction for someone who would get low diffed in a fight against Roger. No matter how we twist this, it all ends with Gaban, Ray and Roger being overall much closer than people thought, in everyway. The dialogue is clear.

also the dialogue IS NOT saying this… Are you saying that in Marineford when Garp says Whitebard and Rayleigh are both legends who can be fought at once that Oda was saying Whitebard and Rayleigh were EQUALS? Or was that use of the “legend” different from this use of it now?

Most normal Luffy fans had Zoro as comparable to Luffy but a bit weaker and Sanji comparable to Zoro but a bit weaker and all of them as comparable EOS. I dont see why normal Luffy fans would be upset lol.

Except they're not. Zoro alone pushes Luffy to high diff and with this new information: Sanji will put up a good fight too. They both wipe the floor with Luffy in a 2v1
