The problem with this is of course the only way of showing the Zoro and Sanji are anywhere close to Luffy is to have Zoro and Sanji FIGHT ENEMIES WHO ARE CLOSE TO LUFFY’S ENEMIES
And this is highly improbably because there’s no one close to Imu or Teach for Zoro and Sanji to fight
Take Zoro for example, Mihawk WILL NOT BE CLOSE to Imu or Teach in power EoS… If you don’t think Mihawk is Zoro’s final fight then Nusjuro IS EVEN WORSE since he’s literally powered by Imu himself so he’s even WAY weaker than Imu and Shiryu is a literal bum compared to EoS teach who will likely eat another DF and defeat shanks
see, it’s hard to imagine an enemy for Zoro comparable to Imu or Teach and that not even trying to find such an enemy for freakin Sanji
You're correct in stating that they won't fight enemies on the same level. But similar to Ennies lobby, all they have to do is defeat their enemies with more dominance than Luffy by a clear amount. That should be enough to draw them closer to Luffy, not equal, but closer. But it simply doesn't make sense to me for Luffy to be so powerful that he is capable of easily defeating characters set to reach the levels of the Yonkos or maybe even above that, who knows at this point.
Admiral fans have been celebrating for 2 months, Akainu is on par with Roger because he has a 5 billion bounty. Now they're celebrating Roger is on par with Gaban
Akainu~yc2 @MonsterKaido@Hanzo hattori
I said Sakazuki should get a power up to separate himself from the other admirals against luffy and I still stand on that
Zoro and Sanji can deal with his king/queen Lucci/Kaku equivalents
If gaban actually looks like roshi like redons gif implied people might hide cause oda gonna glaze him more than any other character https://www.thegrandline.com/odainterview.html
>Oda: You mentioned something of the sort in some interview. (Note:This interview was the Toriyama interview from Daizenshyuu 1)
This mofo knows Toriyamas quotes better than himself, rip
