How much did Keisha’s death ‘sting’?

His death was was brought up multiple times though. Have you completely missed the plotlines of Gaku'ei and Kinmou attempting to avenge his death?
Also, I don't the Keisha was 'the 3rd or 4th strongest' in Zhao, even at the time of his death. There was a fairly large pool of powerful GG-calibre commanders who, although their allegiance to Zhao was a bit complicated, should have scaled higher than him (Kouchou, Rozo, SBS, Chou Kotsu (?) etc.).

His own underlings reacted, but did the wider Zhao?
He was considered a top 5 in Zhao by reputation at least by Ten which appeared to me an official Qin perspective (I imagine Riboku, Houken, Kochou, Keisha +1). Ability wise I guess you’d take out Houken but then add SBS and debate Gyou’un/Choukotsu.

Keisha's death was irreplaceable. Man was the closest to Zhao's Three Great Heavens seat and his Instinctual ability is as good as Duke Hyou, if not better. His poor match-up just happens to be against Kanki and Shin of all people.
But his death was worth finding out Kanki's weakness. Even Riboku himself wanted to avenge Keisha which he did by killing Kanki. So Keisha got Riboku the W against Kanki in the end.
Keisha > Kochou is confirmed by portrayal according to Riboku and by feats, Keisha almost defeated Kanki while Kochou was outmatched by Kanki. Rozo doesn't count cuz he's not part of Zhao's military and he only helps out because of Shunsuiju and Riboku's connection. Shibashou also doesn't count cuz he said, "Fuck the Zhao!" and Riboku already established SBS as 3GH level when SBS himself rejected the GH seat. Chou Kotsu is guaranteed a fraud.
