I don't know if it is on pause or not, I don't follow it, but I saw Luffy vs Lucci, and it was bad. Real bad. Like the Wano fights.
It's very fluid animation, sure, but that's literally the only thing it has over even pre-TS animation, and at the cost of everything else.

Yea that's you liking or disliking it. Objectively its the highest quality the One Piece animation has ever been. Like statistically speaking (talking key frames and all that fun stuff).
One thing about egghead too is they cleaned up all those auras from Wano. So now we don't have that overly flashy lightshow, just raw clean animation for the most part.
