I feel like I've entered some weird twilight zone where people have suddenly forgotten who Sanji actually is lmao.

Luffy is undeniably a top-tier now. Sanji is undeniably still a high-tier. Sanji is far closer to post-WCI Luffy than he is to current Luffy - this honestly can't even be debated.

However strong someone thinks EoS Sanji will be compared to EoS Luffy, it's undeniable that right now they are tiers apart. Luffy shits on Sanji, and it's not close.

His stamina in Nika form is definitely an issue but not his strength.


I say he's situational top tier due to his inability to be in G5 for long but that doesn't diminish the fact that his feats in G5 ecplise anything we have seen from other SHs more so with Sanji.

How strong his peak is doesn’t matter if it can’t take anyone out due to gassing out so quickly.

Heck It didn’t even leave a mark on Kizaru in Egghead with Kizaru feeding and helping Luffy in the fight. G5 has a lot of power, but its cost is wayyyy too great.

I look at it more as they are his partners than his lackies. Because clearly the relationship here is not like the one we see with Kaido and his calamities. So while Roger is indeed stronger, his top guys are his close partners that aren't left in the dust by him unlike the calamities are by Kaido. But does it literally mean that Gaban and Ray are dead equal to Roger in any way, definitely not.

I just think they gap in strength between them is similar to the gap in strength between luffy zoro and sanji tbh

yeah except Zoro with his ACOC did fuck all to Kaido whilst Luffy was able to out him down. Zoro is not anywhere near Luffy. ACoC is just another tool to increase your output. It isn’t the end all and be all. Luffy’s output was way better than Zoro’s even before they both unlocked ACoC. Which hasn’t even been confirmed for Zoro anyway but eh precious databooks you all love to use?

It separated Luffy from the rest as he didn’t merely get ACoC

He became a sky splitter and fought on par with Kaido

Nothing suggests the boost Zoro got from CoC is any different from the boost Sanji got from genes+IJ , or Kid/Law got from their DF boosts.

you can’t just put Zoro on a pedestal merely for having a power. If you look at what he actually did with it, simply beat a YC1, it isn’t that special.
