gabban nor kizaru knows how luffy actually did it they just think luffy solo kaido and won.

kizaru felt base luffy power and thought this really is the man who beat kaido while in reality luffy had jump kaido while holding an island 2 breaks a god DF awakening and still went extreme diff unconscious for a week straight luffy still loses if anything this chpt is an L for roger and Luffy fans

The main thing is always Bajrung gun also. BG is wayyy more powerful than anything luffy has done in G5. Kaido has something comparable to that.

Loki can show feats better than Kaido. We shall see. But Kizaru has done nothing even close to that level. Max Kizaru pushes hybrid Kaido is high diff. Blazing bagua not even needed.

Some people truly thought that Gaban wasn't relevant, that he wasn't meant to be Roger's Sanji, that he wasn't one of the strongest members of his crew and so on.

I said it once, now I repeat it: in normal circumstances, a crewmate of Roger who first appeared as the main focus of a panel in the same chapter Rayleigh was first seen (chapter 19); who was given dialogue in Chapter 0; who literally lead the crew alongside Rayleigh as they charged against the Whitebeard Pirates; and who shares a metal theme with Roger and Rayleigh; such character, I was saying, would be hyped to the sky by the fandom.

Only the potential association between Gaban and Sanji was preventing certain people (mainly Zoro fans) from obsessing with this character; same people who spent years trying to convince others that Roger's left hand man (a concept that, according to them, would not exist) was bound to be irrelevant.

Hence why the reactions to this chapter are so fun to watch.
