Also @Franosuke , you would only have to take one look at any one piece arc to know that Luffy and Sanji are not equals in strength. But Sanji did say in Thriller Bark that he will be the most dangerous person in the crew. I believe him, and he will definitely do something in the final war to make him equally legendary to Luffy and Zoro. Held in the same regard.

But Luffy > Zoro > Sanji is very obvious.

I do agree that Luffy > Zoro > Sanji is very obvious. But I believe the "equals" statement does imply extreme diff gaps.

It's no small task to have equal stature to the Pirate King. Sure, they might be thinking of some legendary pirate exploits like you said. But I'd take it that over 90% of that reputation comes from the perception that Roger has 2 people in his crew who can rival him in power.

An extreme diff fight for Luffy is also an extreme diff fight for Zoro, but slightly too much for Sanji to handle

A high diff fight for Zoro is a mid-high diff fight for Luffy and an extreme diff fight for Sanji

An extreme diff fight for Zoro is an extreme diff fight for Sanji or a high diff fight for Luffy.
