Thatvis headcanon since that's not proven. A single small group of individuals claim a particular status of gaban yet an actual yonko crew doesn't know who the hell he is? A crew that has actually traveled alot of places?

Lol what? We can count the damage Kaidou took against the scabbards, the R5, and then Yamato.

One ACoC G5 Punch can atleast equal half of it if we're being conservative. And we know Luffy can spam ACoC in base, and we also know Luffy can fight with a Drunk Kaidou with gear stacking (technically base at this point). 1 min tops and he is able to replicate whatever superficial damage Kaidou suffered prior to fighting fully realized Luffy.

Luffy being at his current lvl able to do meaningful damage from the start of the fight, would be a lot worse for Kaidou than those "15 characters" doing shallow damage. This means right off the jump Kaidou has to eat AdCoA + AdCoC.

But kaidos durability endurance and stamina still gaps luffys also im pretty sure carrying an island with his df power still takes a toll which is why when he was getting weakened the island started dropping. also kaido not being a retard and just watching luffy hit him also helps
