it was actually said that Silver was Roger's right hand, and later wasn't it said that Zoro was Luffy's right hand and number two?
this means that there is at least an indirect connection between Zoro and Silver.

Zoro has never been stated to be right hand, First Mate, second in command - nada. The official confirmation of his role is "swordsman".

The Roger Pirates had a hierarchy beyond the captain. Gaban being an equal in fighting ability had no bearing on the fact Rayleigh outranked him. The Strawhats have Luffy as their captain, and that's it. They're unconventional crew that operates more like a found family than a criminal enterprise.

I suspect Oda went with "wings" over "hands" to emphasise parity. The dominant hand is typically stronger, but wings require symmetry to fly straight, i.e. get to your destination.

Oda has already had characters state Roger is like Luffy and Gaban is like Sanji, but no one has ever said Rayleigh is like a certain SH. Are we still waiting for Luffy’s Rayleigh to join the crew?

I admit maybe the Simpji downplay might have went overboard, but this is not gonna change 1000+ of canon material, Luffy >~ Zoro > Sanji, #1 >~ #2 > #3, this chapter acknowledges he’s gonna be a great too, but lots of great people already exist in OP. Luffy is the main character, Zoro wants to be the strongest swordsman, and is always boiling to fight strong people, and then there’s Sanji, who’s obviously #3, he’s strong in his own weird way, but never actually measures to the other two let’s be frank
