Chapter starts with imformation on Gaban and how he is good at what seems to be an akido fighting style incorporating kicks as well. He is capable of handling most weaponary with his speciality being Axes. However he has always refused using swords as he notes that Rayleigh is the one that perfected fighting with a sword and that he won't be as gifted as Rayleigh in that regard.
Again rubbish. Oda has always went out ofbhis way to show the fighting style of characters. FYI swordsmanship is also a fighting style. Secondly never once stated that he will elaborate on it. Stated if you know English that his fighting style is akin to a real world fighting style akido. Simple. No long drawn out explanation from the author himself.
