We’ll see what he does, but it wouldn’t be the first time oda makes the number three the most notable since Blueno was kinda the main used CP member under Lucci until the Doriki chapter.

Rayleigh can fight an admiral, Gaban is pretty much his equal, Luffy needs Gear 5 to fight at admiral level, it's natural that Gaban would dogwalk Luffy's base form.

Among the admirals the best guy who matches up perfectly with Zoro in terms of demeanor and rawness is probably Akainu

I know that unfortunately Luffy will fight Akainu, and I'm not really excited about that fight since I know Oda will make Goofy use some magical Nika bullshit to beat Akainu.

But man Zoro and Akainu fighting would be so raw

Tbh I don’t see Kizaru switching sides. He seems like he has no will to fight the WG itself and I don’t think he wants to see his friend suffer anymore as such killing him for good at this point would just be a mercy.

Yeah I can see him continuing to fight for the WG until he's incapacitated. It would definitely surprise me if his downfall was this arc though, that would be a twist in my eyes
