So he both blitzed a FS user but also dodged a FS user with incredibly fast attacks.

Let's remember Ray did better than G4 against kizaru.

Let's not take things too far. From what I can tell, Gaban clowned pre-G4 Luffy. I presume he did not use CoC either. Even most YC1s would dominate pre-G4 Luffy when he's not using CoC, so someone like Gaban should be able to handle him fairly easily.

Not to take anything from Gaban, he's got a fair share of hype from the fact that Luffy felt the need to go G5 directly after competing with him, and Zoro stepped in to save Luffy, which he usually doesn't do. That's decent enough hype for an old-timer. This isn't a negative for Luffy.

Whitebeard survived 152 bullets and half his head was gone. 267 sword wounds (stabs or slashes).

For comparison, 1 bullet in the head is enough to kill DF less goofy.
Not to forget his zoan enhances even his base stats.

He still fighting in base which still slower and weaker than even past G4 in certain aspects .
Luffy issues with Kat had nothing to with his gear power but haki .
Which is why when he learn FS he use the same gears 4 on Kat .

In Kuri he got hit clean head on cause no Future Sight ---> beginning of roofpiece = half avoided half got clipped cause he used FS but was in base ---> Finally when he dodged it clean he used both Future Sight and Gear 2nd.

Got literally nothing to do with ACoC, he just used his precognition with his gears movement speed, where he didn't do both together.
