Meh, loyal is a strong word. According to Shamrock he's too attached to the surface world,but he was allowed to return once.

So I think there's a connection, but it wouldn't make sense for Shanks to be a full on proud celestial dragon
Even Roger, Rayleigh, and Gaban defended the Celestial Dragons from Rox. Saint Shanks having some kind of loyalty/agreeance with them would not be surprising at all.

I 100% believe Saint Shanks’s sword has the Gryphon fruit just like Shamrock has the Cerberus sword. And the Celestial Dragons wouldn’t give Saint Shanks a powerful sword like that for no purpose. Saint Shanks definitely has loyalties to them.

One Piece fans aren’t ready for it, but Luffy and Saint Shanks will end up on opposite sides of the EOS conflict.

After the events of Egg Head and possibly the events of Elbaf, the Gorosei will have 2 defeats against the Mugiwaras and their pride will be shattered to pieces. The Mugiwaras somehow, alongside Bonney and Kuma interrupted the plans of the Gorosei at Egg Head and Luffy was indirectly responsible for the death of Saturn. In Elbaf, they will likely frustrate the game that Shamrock informed us about and it will be another defeat for them. By the end of Elbaf, there will still be a vacancy for God's Knight and it's likely that they will not have much options left after Loki blatantly denies the offer and fight them, so Figarland Garling will likely demand Yorki to rebuild the scraps left of Emeth to make of him a blindly loyal God's Knight and use him in their final battle against our outlaw protagonists, after having the chance of controling something that caused massive damage to a Gorosei and has the ability of sealing haki is definitively something no one would want to miss, not to mention that controlling one of their greatest enemies and privating him from his freedom would immensively be good for their ego and wounded pride. The one to fight Emeth could be either Loki or Franky (or why not the two together, huh?). Emeth and Loki have some things in common, like being horned giants, currently being unable to move, having direct connection to the lost century and being allies with Joyboy/Luffy. At the same time, they have contrasting details, like their names. Emeth is the hebraic word for truth, while Loki is the norse god of lies. Also, the irony, in the bible, we have the verse: "John 8:32 says you will know the truth and the truth will set you free." Ironic, because in this case, the truth (Emeth) would be imprisoned, and the one to free him would be no one but the lie itself (Loki), as during their possible fight, Loki could show empathy for Emeth and understanding how it feels to be so powerful, yet unable of moving on his own. Yorki could likely find the origin of the power of Emeth and understand why he moves when Joyboy is around and reverte it so he works as long as Imu lives. Of course, this theory might age like milk, or age like wine, but it is still worthy a try. Thoughts?
Edit: more things in commons: Emeth was able of moving thanks to Luffy being there. Loki will be able to move thaks to Luffy
Contrasts: Emeth will be fighting against his will, while Loki will be fighting according to his will.
Worthy noting: Emeth was the main responsible for allowing the Mugiwaras/Bonney and Kuma escpaing safely Egg Head and this is will likely cost his freedom. They will rettribute the favor by releasing him during the final war by destroying him for once so he will feel he is worht of facing Joyboy in the other world (Canonnically, this world exists, as Brook revealed)

@Mr. Katakuri
Emeth would be a cool fight for Loki, their size matches up and both have insane hype.

Not sure if Imu-sama would allow that though. It feels like he really wanted Emeth dismantled.

I don't know if it will happen because I need to see a bit more from them, but let's say Sanji does fight Sommers(Ju Peter's relative), there is a slight good chance that if that happens then Sanji probably won't fight Ju Peter.

It would feel a bit repetitive for Sanji to fight another member of the Shepherd Family again.
no its the opposite ju peter wnated revenge
