The outcome sounds reasonable. Luffy and probably Zoro could be stronger than Gaban right now but I expect his fighting style to be super refined to the point that he can toy with them a little but ultimately never win. He would probably make a great teacher. You always get a feeling Zoro and Luffy are wasting a tone of stamina and haki when fighting. Luffy improved a little in Wano but it looks like he still has ways to go.
