First Winter anime 2025 Arifureta Season 3 ended, and it was.....
The final episode pays off but man, the Ice Labyrinth arc was absolutely ass. Like I know everybody is supposed to have their own character development moments but come on, there are better ways to convey this. First half of season 3 was great though, loved Shea and her big character development arc. Second half of S3 no, just no.
Koki is still a bitch as always, classic Isekai hero trope. Tio is still the best girl as always. My favorite perverted dragon xD.
Tio > Shea > Yue > Shizuku (she's the only thing worth watching in Ice Labyrinth arc) > Kaori (she's not bad but Hajime's Big 3 Girls and Shizuku are just better).
Overall, Arifureta Season 2 is still the best. Season 1 was garbage but season 1 of most Isekai anime in general has the most/best build-up to the story, so I'll give it a pass. Season 3 is the worst season due to the second half.
If there's a season 4 would I still watch it? Absolutely. S3 is not bad enough for me to drop the show. As for what I think will happen in season 4 and beyond?
Now that Hajime and gang have learned ancient magic and got the key to go back to Japan, what's left is Tio's hometown arc and the infamous Eri capturing arc, man I hope the bitch Eri dies honestly. As for the red hair Demon Lord dude, he's probably gonna die by Hajime and he would take his magic away or something. I still don't know how the Demon Lord dude was able to replicate copies of Noint, speaking of her, Hajime still needs to rescue Myu from one of Noint replicas? Lots to cover in the next couple of seasons.
