Usually when we have major problems for a post timeskip arc, it always happens during the climax.

Striking right? Almost 3 decades into the story and we STILL learn about new feats that this one guy from chapter 49 was ALREADY carrying (and more)

Most of it is also valid for Shanks but being a Zoro hater might narrow one's mind

Mihawk only needed to show the one feat to prove himself as the strongest.
He less than negged East Blue Zoro after destroying Krish’s whole fleet on a whim, which already puts him at a high tier. He did the single strongest slashing attack shown of all swordsmen at Marineford. Zoro, after fighting S-Hawk and King, says that Mihawk is even less human than his Seraphim, who is a top tier by himself. Nothing else needs to be said. Oda can’t show him fighting, he is a pure swordsman, and he has already shown himself beating other swordsmen and cutting through insane things. Unless he just wants to show us more crazy stuff Mihawk can cut which adds nothing to the story.

This arc will be only focused in Elbaf. Remember that since the beginning of egghead oda was swapping to several different places outside egghead. We are perhaps in chapter 14 od this arc, right? He didnt swap until this moment. So I don't think he gonna do that

Roger is essentially what Shanks would/could have become if he hadn't sacrificed his arm. Or rather, he could have surpassed Roger. He's more than likely relative to Roger as it stands.

He's the placeholder PK, until Luffy actually becomes the PK.

Time bombs are very useful, especially when you use them a lot, because people will naturally expect the protagonists to save the day before it goes off. So when you want to really deliver a twist you let the timer run out
