Maybe, maybe not. We have no indicator in any direction. Shamrock as goal just makes Sense through the whole Kid - Shanks - theme.

But even better, Kid has a Fishman in his Crew (Dive) which was the First Person of the Crew recognizing the Attack which drowned the crew. Coincidence specially dive was the first one seeing it?

The Figarlands should all be Zoro victims but I doubt Oda himself is ready for that so Kid could have one.

He still hasn't shown anything that makes him capable of even trying, though, he needs a big, big boost.

I know Kid gets downplayed alot, but People should realize what kind of threat the CoC-boosted attack of Kid was. Shanks imediately stepped on, felt the need to Jump in before it can Happen. Obviously even Shanks recognized this attack as huge threat.
