@DarkWitch has a poor understanding of our fandom, itsnt because we are all zoro fan that we agree on everything nor do we like zoro for same reason.
It's like a man being interested in a girl.
Some for her beauty, other for her kindness, fidelity, wealth, long time freindship.
What I like about zoro Above all is his loyalty and willpower.
If zoro was a fodder I would still like him cause of those two qualities.
Other like zoro simply cause of he is badass and will Stop if he stop being cool.
It's a bonus for me that he can be caring and badass simultanuously.
Remember some zoro fans didn't like him defending kaku and lucci and would have prefered if he simply let them killed cause they see it as a weakness.

That is 100% is not going to happen.
Oda is not going to kill off Gunko.
Gunko is not immortal like Saturn was, Saturn died because Imu took away his immorality.
Also even though Gunko might be a bit evil so far, she is nothing like Saturn who was shown to be this cruel evil demon.
And finally the whole point on getting rid of Saturn besides the whole thing with Imu, was to also have Garling replace Saturn.
Oh and if it turns out that Gunko is 16 or younger, that's another reason why I believe she won't die.
