General & Others Based on all of this hype around Loki how strong do you expect him to be?

The way that Loki has been hyped I think he should be Yonko level. However, I hold the Yonko in a high regard so maybe right on the cusp of Yonko level but not quite there?

If it took Shanks to beat him this could be a way for Luffy to prove that he is close to Shanks in power.

Definitely stronger than a YC1 if the giants needed Shanks help to subdue a mere yonko commander then their bigger bums than I thought

I thought the same, he’s been locked up for six years he should be weaker. But if he’s DF reliant maybe not.

I hope he isn’t. At this point in the story and based on his design I want him to be a master of all types of haki and have a busted awakened devil fruit.

It would be nice if he had a logia because we haven’t seen a giant with a logia. But it’s probably a mythical Zoan.

Idk what Yonkou lvl is supposed to mean, it holds about as much weight as calling someone Warlord lvl. Yonkou lvl can mean Buggy, it can mean Big Mom, it can mean drawback merchant Luffy, or it can mean Shanks. The range is stretched thin.

Admiral lvl has a strict cutoff, basically means solid top tier capable of fighting at top tier lvl for days on end, clearing the old legends unless somehow Greenbull and Fujitora are that much weaker than the C3.

Reason I would hesitate on Admiral lvl is because Oda does not hand apex predators in their primes like Admirals defeats on their resume, the one time he did he had to go above and beyond to show how close the fight was and how many days it took, but Loki lost to Shanks apparently and Oda hasn't done anything so far to make it sound like an Akainu vs Aokiji type of takedown.

There is a chance he isn't stronger than Old legends like Garp and Rayleigh, he lost his last fight, and he was introduced with a sub 3 bil bounty. Old legends are still formidable so a new character being introduced on that lvl would warrant this hype. An old legend can have a Yonkou completely soil his pants to avoid fighting them, not to be underestimated. Having said all that, Loki's hype warrants that his floor is not too far from this lvl either.

Put it like this I have Yonko > Admiral > Commander, that way you know exactly what it means. If he’s not at least admiral level he has no business fighting Luffy. Also the giants would be weak af if they couldn’t stop one person who wasn’t even admiral level.

So you are using Luffy as the representation of Yonkou lvl?

That's tough to judge atm, based on his Egghead encounter with Kizaru, Luffy is atleast comfortably below an all out serious Kizaru imo. If I ignore matchups and scale the rest of the Admirals to Kizaru, this would put Luffy closer to the old legends than the Admirals, but whether Kizaru was an exception or not remains to be seen.

Luffy is just a notch below Admirals or he's in the mix with them but just loses to Kizaru, hard to say until we see his next big fight.

With Loki I think he can def cap at Old Ray and Garp, and it would make sense. Obviously at the very least these guys can give Luffy more than a good fight, so Loki would be fine in this range.

I'll put Loki level as between Admiral - YC. His strength could be upper-tier compared to Yamato,whom being same level Admiral - YC but at the lower a bit.

Probably around Big Mom, Luffy and Kaido's overall level when fully healed and at his prime.

But he was chained for years and exhausted from Lunko and Scamrock's attacks, so he probably won't be overly impressive beyond a certain point this arc.

Notice a Pattern here? They are Yonko, or Pirates of Highest Level of Influence/Threat,
So Loki being added to the List means He is up there as well,

Buggy is only on that Level by Name, He is Fake,
Luffy is only Temporarily on that Level, He still needs to Master his Form,
So i won't count these Two

Loki is Same Level as Roger, WB, Kaidou & Blackbeard.

I don't make distinction between yonko level and admiral level.
Even if yonkos are on average stronger, you can't make the case that there are zero admirals at least as strong as BM, current BB and current Luffy.

That being said, Loki is obviously going to be a top tier. He's definitely going to be stronger than old legends, maybe stronger than new admirals too.

If the top tier is divided into 4 levels, then Loki should be minimum mid level.

Mine is like this
- Low : Yamato, Kidd, Law, God Knights, current Zoro, post-Elbaf Sanji
- Mid : Loki, Beckman, Elders, post-Elbaf Zoro, EoS Sanji
- High : Green Bull, Fuji, BM, Zoro facing Mihawk
- Top : Akainu, Shanks, Mihawk, WSS Zoro

Shanks would have clapped Greenbull in real time, just like he clapped Loki and Kid. Oda has no hesitation to clown even top-tiers when it comes to Shanks. Loki could very much fuck up Goofy and be mid top-tier but he still lost to Shanks.
