Ok, this is a kinda dumb thread, but what if for the shanks vs kid fight, instead of uaving kid get kamasarid, shanks instead just used kamasari, and just barely missed, then kid just obliterated shanks with the railgun to the face
Mid pirates would just get obliterated by the rest of Shanks's crew so nothing changes with a lucky victory over Shanks.
Beckman and Yassop probably Bully the entire kidd pirates by themselves.

What does that say about BB, that Kid had no problem dealing with Shanks? What does it say about Luffy, who uses Shanks as a benchmark to measure himself by?

I know it's a meme thread, which is why my post was addressed to the Kid fans at large, and not at you specifically. Still, people were hoping for Kid to defeat Shanks (and still expect a big comeback), but I don't see a narrative future for that.

I have no doubt that Kid will be back.
What I have doubts about is his relevancy going forward. Aside from a 1v1 in the Final War against one of IMU's henchmen, I don't see him doing much else.
