Trebol was backing up Doffy. And yes, a mid tier like Trebol interfering actually would make a difference. He doesn’t need to be dealing serious damage to Law himself. He just needs to stagger Law and distract him enough to give Doffy openings

I have a feeling that Hanafuda might even be superior to Doflamingo.

Think about it, Doffy supplied Kaidou with SMILEs while Hanafuda was the Ancient Zoan supplier.

He was a Warlord with the "King of Lizards" epithet, hinting at a T Rex Zoan and possibly CoC too.

He might unironically be the "Doflamingo" in Ace's journey.

They know mid tiers or even fodders can turn the fight around

Jack and flyers were winning against Inu, Robin, Franky and Jinbei cause they had fodder help

But they think Doffy with help trebol help wasn't a big deal lol

Does Snack not have the brains to simply... tell BM what happened? Raise the alarm at some point, send the whole furious army after a crew that would get wrecked in seconds?

The whole thing raises a lot of questions and I don’t think there’s any satisfactory answers to them.

In order to be a Warlord you need to be strong, or at least have the reputation of being strong

Moria let himself go, Ace probably beat Hanafuda with similar plot conveniences as Luffy
