Kinemon lost to Law after getting shipwrecked and stranded on Punk Hazard. That's not exactly a great indication of his strength. And law is pretty strong himself. Luffy got strangled by Caesar the same arc.

dude this is one piece, only few scars remain significant....for example Luffy got "wounded" many times in the battle but only the scar Akainu gave him remained significant....same for Zoro....Kaido might have wounded several times in his past battles afterall he lost 7 times but only the scar given by Oden remained significant

i could agree and see where youre coming from, but for a character that is heavily implied to be the strongest in defense along with BM, this chapter gives a big a shock value. Bcs characters like scabbards who varies a lot in strength (but in no way any of them could be stronger than post WCI Luffy who has beaten YC1) could injure him. The likes of Kinemon, Kikunojo could do more shits to him. All in the name of snatch, vassals' loyalty, Oden's will &ryou.
