Perospero seems to really hate the Beast Pirates. He 100 percent opposes the alliance between Big Mom and Kaido. So much so that he's even willing to betray the family and ally with the enemy to see it broken apart. Hopefully there is a story behind it.

Hopefully there's a gimmick behind all of this. Something in a similar manner of how Big Mom can be injured when something happens to Mother Caramels picture. A mental state type of deal. The scene does come off a flashback of Oden, so who knows.
