Honestly, the whole thing might have just been a plot device to get Marco out of the picture for all this stuff with the Scabbards to be able to transpire, and when Marco and Perospero get to Onigashima Oda makes it on sight for Sulong Carrot and Pero.

Hopefully there's a gimmick behind all of this. Something in a similar manner of how Big Mom can be injured when something happens to Mother Caramels picture. A mental state type of deal. The scene does come off a flashback of Oden, so who knows.

From Luffy vs Katakuri we saw how Brute strength overcame superior CoA ( when Luffy was at G4 and Katakuri lost his calmness)....Since Advanced CoA also seems to be barrier, it can be overcome with Brute force as well imo.....

FS ability is a formidable ability as well....It is even more formidable when the user has a DF that can allow him to shape shift after predicting the future.....( Katakuri, Admirals can shape shift after predicting the future thus they suffer nil damage....) while it is formidable for normal people but not so much ( although Luffy is rubber it's quite difficult for him to shape shift and dodge multiple attacks).....

There are 2 levels of Advanced Armament Haki.

There is Advanced Armament Haki level 1( Emmisson/Barrier)- Flwing Haki into a forcefield or bast

AAdvanced Armament Haki level 2 ( Internal Destruction)- Destroying something from the inside out. This is extremely rare and powerful- only used by Garp, Rayleigh and Luffy.

Luffy has both Advanced Armament Haki Level 1( Emission) and Extremely rare Advanced Armament Haki leve2 ( Internal Destruction) Haki.

The Scabbards are using Advanced Armament Haki level 1- Emission, just like the Admirals, Sentomaru, Boa Sisters and Rayleigh, Roger.

Durability is not consistemt sometimes. Roger died from stabs to the chest. WB got injured from Squadro's stab.

come on stop it...don't try to find fault in everything just for the sake of it....durability consistent or inconsistent aside, you quote wrong examples....

First, Roger didn't even bother to fight back
Second, he is not a monster based on incredible physical stats like Kaido nor does he have impenetrable skin...he is just a normal human with one heart, 2 lungs....you pierce through heart, you will die...

same the case with WB...even WB implied that he is a human with single heart....

Last week I said that the only thing interesting about the chapter was knowing if Kaido got pierced. I thought the answer was obviously not.

Now I wake up and I see Kinemon piercing this moron.

Oda, WTF.

If Kinemon can do that a KKG with Adv CoA is gonna oneshot him with zero problems. And Kaido is gonna be stupid enough to stand still while Luffy aims.

I talled you all, Luffy is meant to 1v1 Kaido and Oda made Kaido weak enough so that would be possible.
