Haki is literally swordsmanship 101.

The most important asset to new world swordsmen is Ryou, their flow of Haki which allows them to cut everything they please and nothing they don't please.

We have been saying for ages Mihawk is the strongest CoA user in One Piece history, this all but confirms it.
CoA is essential and synonymous with swordsmanship above all else, makes sense that CoA is more fleshed out it ever has been in country of swordsmen.

There are 2 levels of Advanced Armament Haki.

There is Advanced Armament Haki level 1( Emmisson/Barrier)- Flwing Haki into a forcefield or bast

AAdvanced Armament Haki level 2 ( Internal Destruction)- Destroying something from the inside out. This is extremely rare and powerful- only used by Garp, Rayleigh and Luffy.

Luffy has both Advanced Armament Haki Level 1( Emission) and Extremely rare Advanced Armament Haki leve2 ( Internal Destruction) Haki.

The Scabbards are using Advanced Armament Haki level 1- Emission, just like the Admirals, Sentomaru, Boa Sisters and Rayleigh, Roger.

It really does seem the scabbards did use Advanced Coa level 2 aka penetration.
There is no barrier shown when the scabbards pierce Kaido.

Reality is, lets just realize how overpowered Zoro is because Kinnemon who is at a high tier to be able to do this was shitting looking at Zoro.

When I told you Zoro's mountain busting feat is top tier feat, ya'll didn't believe me. Now we have man capable of injuring most durable character in the series shitting his pants and getting orgasm on top of it looking at that feat.

Durability is not consistemt sometimes. Roger died from stabs to the chest. WB got injured from Squadro's stab.

Marco however can survive those seeing his blow out left eye and torso due to Kizaru's Yasakani no Magatama regenerated later. Jozu also survived Mihawk's slash.

Yet Roger and Garp are 2 of the strongest characters in One Piece while Marco and Jozu are high tiers.

Gedatsu also fell from Sky Island before Kaido and survived yet he lost to pre TS Chopper

They were using Barrier Haki, aka the breath of all things that Hyougoro explained. They did the samething Zoro did to Mr1.
