At least switch to a Yonkou that has a chance like Blackbeard.

Blackbeard won't take on someone unless he's absolutely sure that he will be able, it was a short time after the war so it was obvious that he wasn't strong enough

Only ting this chapter does imo is put a massive question mark on Kaidou being the strongest top tier in the verse like many and myself have assumed for the longest time. He's lost that invulnerability which was the most unique ting about him, with all the scabbards having a go at him this chapter and putting effective hits in. That said, yes the scabbards are capable of hurting him with their level of Haki but it easy to forget that Kaidou let his guard down coz 1.) he was too overconfident in his durability and 2.) he remembered when Oden hurt him way back just before the scabbards attacks landed so that also slowed his reaction time. It won't be at all easy to land hits on Kaidou now that he knows they can hurt him. Moreover, he will also be going on the attack.

Also another ting to note is that if the scabbards can hurt Kaidou they can most likely hurt any other top tier in the verse if said top tier let's their guard down.

Lastly, Sandersonia was it? is very skillful in armament as she was able to use barrier haki but it didn't stop her from getting wrecked by pre-ts Luffy. So it won't be the first time someone that was weak has exhibited a very high level of skill in haki. I don't think all of the scabbards having this level of Ryou automatically makes them high tiers or even above that, else we should be making the same argument for Sandersonia but they do posses lethal abilities. For example could Kin scrap with a calamity? I very much doubt that. The difference in their base stats is way too big for Kin to be on the same level as them even though he can hurt them in theory imo.

Okay, enough Kaido bashing for now. But can you blame me? I was ready to see the Scabbards get "one-shotted" this chapter and have Kaido restore his hype. But...wait...I am doing it again.

Back to the chapter.

Nami and Carrot: It seems that Nami and Carrot always had a plan. Their plan was to distract Big Mom while Shinobu rescues Momonusuke. That's damn good work, Nami!!! I am proud of you that you tried your best to carry out your mission.

Ulti and Yamato: Did I mention I am loving Ulti? I probably did. Ulti is fantastic even if she is not that strong. I want to see more of Ulti. But that being said, Yamato is stronger than Ulti, that is pretty much confirmed now. But power-level aside, I like Ulti a lot more than I like Yamato. And I like both a lot more than Black Maria at this point. We will see if that changes in the future.

Luffy and Big Mom: Luffy is quite cocky today and I like it. Him declaring that he will beat Kaido and BM is something I expect Luffy to do. That's the type of thing Luffy should do. Whether he actually does it or not is another matter entirely. But he should have the audacity to do it.

Fate of this Raid
I think the arc is over tomorrow morning. Because:
  1. Toki's prophecy gotta be fulfilled and if not tonight, it will take another month to fulfill her prophecy
  2. Kaido said that from tomorrow everybody will be slaved. So if Kaido doesn't lose, tomorrow he will obliterate Wano.
  3. Kin'emon and co. have no plan to return to Wano if this raid fails.
  4. All the major players of the war are already here.
I think Luffy and Kaido will fight on Wano soil but because Luffy and Kaido will fly to Wano for their uninterrupted death match.

Finally, it seems that Big Mom will fall here too. Thank God for that.

BB at MF: Not scared of Akainu, Kizaru, Aokiji, Garp, Sengoku etc
