It's one of the things I like about characters like him, Franky, Zoro, Kaido, Pre TS Usopp and Nami, even Sanji back then, they just take shit head on and suffer so much because they refuse to abandon, betray their own principles even if it kills them, they would never truly betray their own beliefs, family, friends etc, ride or die, loyal to the end.
There's elements of it post TS especially with Kidd and Killer in Wano or even Law and Bepo or Jack, King etc, that undying faith and loyalty, self sacrifice etc, I really respect it.
I was gonna say a lot more but I scrapped it. God knows I rant enough here as it is lol.
This looks so much better than their actual colours. NGL, I genuinely can't wait to see this part of the arc animated, along with Kuma vs Saturn and Luffy vs Kizaru.
Especially with the current standards Toei are delivering and some genuinely amazing filler/extra content like what they added to Garp vs Kuzan.
