I agree that one TB to the head puts him to sleep
On rooftop base Luffy was dodging TB from drunk hybrid and counter attacking
Base Kaido who should be considerably slower than hybrid, even with FS he would have a bad time trying to catch Katakuri who was dancing around Snakeman scoring a counter hit
Due to AoE dragon from would probably be having less trouble than base + FS
He is all around a more proficient future sight user than Luffy, his ability is always active and he can shapeshift his body to dodge attacks
It is far easier to overwhelm Katakuri with AoE power than to tag him physically

I am embarrassed to say I am a long time fan of Shiryu, and I am embarrassed to say that because Zolo fans have made being a Shiryu fan an utter disgrace.
Shiryu was always so cool because he doesn’t like fighting, he likes killing. Shiryu eating the invisibility fruit made him that much cooler because it is the perfect fruit for someone like Shiryu who would prefer to cut his opponents down without actually having to fight them.
It’s truly a shame that Zolo fans utterly ruined this character. Lol
