The WSJ cover page with Loki+Luffy+Zoro makes me think he will indeed be the final big fight of the arc, despite him being a clear misunderstood tsundere, since all the other arc villains got similar color pages.

However if Oda is going to try to paint Loki as a schemer who's gonna betray everyone next chapter he's already fumbled the portrayal. If he was a real trickster who wanted to deceive people into freeing him, he should've accept the Gimmick Knights' deal and turned on them shortly after, or in front of the M3+Giant Pirates he should've just immediately passed out to convince everyone he wasn't a threat instead of putting them all on edge with that dumb attack on the tree.

Luffy and Zoro vs Loki, Zoro leaves the fight to Luffy and goes to one tap someone and finally Shams and his daddy show up.

Sommers is one sadistic mf and he is Shamrock’s replacement meaning he is probably the strongest of the trio rn

Kilingham is just the chill guy, his ability looks busted already and he might have a Great Grade trident

Gunko is stoic but also has a cute side to her. Sommers and Kilingham treat her like a sister. Also knows Yonko Luffy is there but not even worried

King Harold was def the bad guy here, Loki will turn into an ally to fulfill the mural prophecy later on. But first he will have to fight the Sun God or use someone else as a hypetool for his legendary DF

On top of all this we don’t know where Gaban is playing a role if any. I suspect he might be going to where the HKs are and try to fight them

Look at how Hajrudin was getting treated just because his Giant mother wasn't from Elbaph

If Harald had a child with a human woman, or, if somehow, he had a child that wasn't a full Giant, and was a Buccaneer, there's no way he could raise the child in Elbaph.

Kaido definitely was abandoned due to not having a Giant mother, IMO.
