What a bar man
I think the UFO's etc. are just ancient technologies of mankind and the governments found out about the ancient history and technology
Yeah, a lot of the UFOs are ancient tech, Indian religious texts describe them a lot, which makes sense because they go further back than Abrahamic stuff in terms of history. I don't trust history (Doflamingo taught us who writes it at Marineford, and the school lessons with Orochi and Oden in Wano reinforced it: its the victors), but look for recurring patterns, and analyze them.
Some UFOs are just straight up advanced beings, though. This tracks with religions describing Angels/Djinn/Spirits being able to transform into balls of light, as well as some Angels being just absolutely bizarre to look at.
This is also why the disclosure if a fucking mess: people want one answer, when the number of answers surpass Japan's number of Gods. That's A LOT of answers, and trying to make sense of all of it into one cohesive narrative isn't just daunting, it's flat out impossible for a lot of people. That's why I believe the education system, government, media, and entertainment industries make people stupid by design; to keep us from being able to perceive the POSSIBILITIES of reality.
The walls of the box aren't some cell, they're our own minds. Humanity hasn't been loving god, it's been worshiping itself, materialism, tech, and crazy ass cult nonsense. We need to love the real God, Nature itself, and all the life in it.
People need to experience truth, not be lectured on it. That's why I suck, I'm so awful when I lecture people, ugh.
All of these cultures separated by the ocean and deserts and wilderness and wild animals all came to roughly the same conclusions about ghost, spirits, and flying beings from the sky. The likelihood of this occurring without some legitimate factual source is ridiculously low.
The reason the government lies is simple: imagine how pissed people would be when they find out that all of this war and poverty and suffering was BY DESIGN because their rulers wouldn't share? There's a reason they spend this much time convincing people to worship the rich. If people ACTUALLY blamed the people in charge, and realized how much they stole from us, there would be actual riots.
That is my one actual argument against mass disclosure; society is far from peaceful, and the revolutions could look much like the French and American Revolutions. Violent messes that cause as much harm as good on multiple levels.
This is why a slow rollout is best, and why we're currently experiencing disclosure ramp up, like with the recent Pyramid research. We need to get good people in place so that when the truth comes out, there is still law and order, not just societal collapse. This is why Oda writes Dragon as a patient character, IMO: Dragon, like the Marines, fears world war. It's always the worst scenario.
Humanity isn't inherently evil, we've been hijacked by some dudes with bad mojo, and need to get our energy sorted properly.
