Oda definitely introduced him this arc only to showcase that he was the final silhouette in the OP race spread. And to cause more confusion and mystery for Luffy and Shanks. Shamrock is EoS contender he’s being saved for something much bigger same as Figarland Shanks and Garling. Probably Laugh Tale or final war

His story is with Shanks, Elbaf is not it

Even though I like the three God's Knights so far, the problem with them is that for now they don't feel like huge threats.

Last arc had tension from Kizaru as well as the Five Elders.

Hopefully things will change later on and Oda hypes up Sommers, Killingham, and Gunko and actually makes them a huge threat, or at the very least he has Shamrock return with more members of the God's Knights.

Sommers beating Gaban ass down while Kilingham and Gunko watch casually would quickly build up their threat level, if the current brigade to fight dream monsters doesn’t push the 3 HKs to mid-diff then they are solid threats for M3 and possibly Loki
