Gods Knights are complete toast otherwise but that conclusion is not only wild but doesn't really seem like you've put any significant thought into what you're claiming will happen💀 . Sommer traps colon with his ability -> biggest weakness of parents is children -> so Gaban falls prey to it like all the fodder giants before him

I legit don't think there was any value add to the Oden thing. It's all negative for me.
She does feel kinda fanfic-y ngl. I hadn't thought of her like that before, but I see it. Kaidou's kid, all three Colours, Mythical Zoan DF, super friendly and easily makes friends - I see how that can also be seen as a self-insert type of character, not of Oda himself but someone he knows.

Yamato's Oni heritage is being saved for her coming to Elbaph, IMO.
The Oden wank is one of the worst parts of Wano, and I say this as someone who has come to love Oden as a character. There's just SOOOOOOOOOO much dick-riding Yonkou crews don't gas up their Captains the way Wano did Oden.
Yamato getting more character focus as someone who has her own dream beyond Oden's dreams of sailing the world and opening the borders would have made her so much better.
Hell, just make it about Oni. "My father raised me to believe Oni have to be violent, and hate humans... but, I think that's ridiculous! I'm going to sail the world, and help people, like Oden, to show the whole world that the Oni race can he heroes, too, just like you and Ace!"
Yamato NEEDS to have someone explain to her why she needs to live her own life.
As Yamato embraces her newfound freedom, she will become herself, rather than an Oden-fill-in, since that is Momo's job.
He has so many people to teach him Advanced Haki, Oden's genetics, a strong body, tons of food/water/medicine to help his body, sword instructors for days, and Kaido's Devil Fruit. Yamato will turn the Tobi Roppo + Calamities into the new Nine Scabbards, and then leave them behind to protect the country while Momo, Tama, Yamato, and Carrot go to Laugh Tale.
