It just shows how clueless Oda was about what to do with her and how to make Wano arc. The arc was such a gigantic mess.

She always should have come back during Elbaf, leaving more room for Kaido and his crew (alongside less Oden, Scabbards and Wano side characters).

Her coming back and redeeming herself in the eyes of the giants by saving the children would be perfect and it would fit within her character because she's protective of children

She is not protective of children she care about them until certain age if they listen to her and would kill them if the go agaist her. ( she was going to kill tama)
Then she treat her own kids like shit like we saw in the pudding flashback . ( she made pudding feel like she had no self worth and gave her split personality ) then there whole lola issues.
Saying that fit within her character is miss reading what type of character BM is.

Chapter was fun and look forward to see what happens with gunko and SH.

EDIT plus would BM even think of them as kids since they over 10.

Hmmm…so the strength of those monsters is proportional to how strong the target thinks they are. Kinda translates to me like these are only the tip of the ice berg 🤔. If any of the older giants become a victim of that ability it’s gonna be a serious problem. Evil Loki, one that matches the original’s specs is a possibility. Linlin is also a strong possibility given the trauma she imposed on the giants. Even Rocks is not out of the realm of possibility if Loki is ever a victim. Kiringham’s ability is way too broken. Again will be interesting to see what Colon’s fear is 🤔

This is what should have happened during Kaido's flashback, alongside showing the origins of the Beast Pirates and him meeting and recruiting each of the Calamities, as well as show the relations between him and Xebec and the Calamities.

I feel like he handle Loki better than Kaido so far.
