Sabo has his own plot, thanks Oda for this one since the Ace-clone thing would be quite right if not:
Not to mention, then he would have to go against BB too, who was the one that sold Ace in the first place. Oddly enough, Sabo's is new Ace only as long as this doesn't take things in Sabo vs BB direction, which should be direction then.
Anyway, imho It's not about the things that indicate Sabo vs Akainu: It's about the things that indicate Akainu vs Luffy, which are much more, and Sabo vs the WG.

Exaclty. Oda, for once, made this orignal.
Sabo is literally the one that:
- declared war on CDs and destroyed their symbol;
- saw Imu and the Gorosei;
- was almost killed by Imu;
- witnessed the Lulusia massacre (done by the... WG);
- thanks to his act against the Goverment, became as famous if not more famous than Dragon;
- he Is the fucking second in command of the RA;
- his early plot Is connected to that, having a CD almost kill him as a child and in a world where scar are symbolic and link the destinies of the characters Sabo has a scar... done by a CD.
I don't know why there is even a speck of doubts about who are going to be Sabo's enemies.

I see some are saying sabo once again because he couldn’t “protect ace”
Sabo wasn’t in marineford so that’s not the case
His main concern for this was forgetting ace and Luffy.
meanwhile Luffy who actually couldn’t protect his brother was present in marineford
His final fight should be either a gorosei or an admiral not being Sakazuki.
