The creature commandos was a great series and superman is looking good based on trailers so I'm having high hopes for the new DCU and I'm glad he's giving us other heroes besides batman, and superman whose been basically the only notable DC hero movies until Wonder woman tho if he does do another batman I kinda hope he does the court of owls story line

I'm not sure how well a amanda waller story will go without the suicide squad maybe as a TV series it could work but a movie ? Naah

The Authority? Interesting.

I know that Wildstorm was acquired by DC at some point, wasn't expecting anything to come of it..

Any chance we'll see Mr Majestic? I read his solo run and it was awesome. I remember hanging out on CV reading debates about him. Dude was considered well above Supes/Thor and easily Superboy Prime level at the time.

What's Paradise Lost about, exactly?

Booster Gold should be dope if done right.

I hope we get Atrocitus and Larfleeze in Lanterns. Also the kitty cat Red Lantern with the sad backstory.

The Waller one I feel has the highest chance of being, well, not good.

Aside from the fact that the MC isn't a superhero, there's a strong chance that they'll try to stuff some hamfisted messaging about social issues and whatnot...you know, the usual.

I don't think Batman will appears until the Brave and The Bold...

Also, talking about Batman, which actor do you think should play the role?
I swear I can't keep track of any of these things....the cinematic verse is slowly getting as convoluted as the comics lol.

Honestly, for Batman, I kinda sorta extremely want to see Henry Cavill do it. Partly because it'd be ironic but I genuinely think he could do a great job and he deserves another chance in the DCU.

an veteran Batman is exacly what we'll get, since we'll have Damian Wayne's Robin in the movie

:Karin_Shock:

Jensen Ackles would be a better choice.
I feel like Ackles has more of an adult Robin vibe, like a revived Red Hood.

I kinda liked Yoho's Gerard Butler suggestion, he looks a bit more like I'd imagine an older Bruce to look like.

Looks like their focusing on the positivity and freshness of it.

Like the reverse of Snyder and his more grim approach - they're distancing themselves from that stuff.

Good on them, I guess. Who's the main villain? Starro?

Starro is more of a justice league villain than anyone person, but tbh anyone except Lex Luthor would be awesome I'm tired of his bald ass showing up all the time, Mongol would be cool or Darkseid and all of apokolips,

Oh right, Luthor was in the trailer. Forgot about him lol.

He's not sucky like the last one was, but he lacks presence.

I liked Zod from MoS. Personally though I'd love to see Supes go up against Lobo, Metallo or Mongul.

Jensen Ackles is 47 years old. It's the perfect age for a veteran and father Batman.
True, true, but I wasn't thinking of his age so much as the vibe he gives off, you know what I mean?

Yeah, i know. Jensen Ackles even voiced Red Hood in an Batman Under the Hood.

The thing is, For play the Batman, It involves several factors such as physicality, acting and charisma. Ackles is better than Butler in these aspects. We also have to consider that it is a 10-year project.

I'm not saying that i want Jensen Ackles as Batman, but between him and Buttler, i prefer Ackles
