I remember Akainu considered Luffy and Ace's lineage "cursed" as if he knew something about the D clan.

Fuji balancing his positive view of Luffy with that existing knowledge would have been more interesting IMO.

Still at least he isn't an actual worshipper of Luffy.

There is no possible way to atone for changing a punch that removed half of WB's skull to a bonk that trimmed half his moustache lol.

So at least some of the "Beckmann can kill Admirals!" takes you might see from casuals online are Toei's fault lol.
