I think Killingham is above Sommmers in authority: Killingham has been polite up till now, but Sommers' suggesting taking back Yonkou crewmembers of Luffy was enough for Killingham to snap and straight up call Sommer's a dolt:

Sommers was fine with bringing back the Straw Hats, until Killingham spoke up.

IMO, Sommers is stronger, or close to as strong, but Killingham has a higher rank because Gunko and Sommers are selfish and deviate from the mission. Gunko is trying to turn a Skeleton Pirate Rock Star into her personal Mozart, and Sommers is just... kinda unhinged.

Killingham is by far the most competent person here, the only one prioritizing the mission.

Sommers only snaps at Gunko AFTER Killingham reprimanded him: Sommers was pissed Killingham corrected him, and took it out on Gunko, IMO:

I believe Killingham is an inherently kind individual: he looked sad, when he said they had to wake the kids up from their dreams.

Perhaps Killingham pities slaves, and uses his powers to give Mary Geoise children sweet dreams? That's cool, I love Killingham, seems like a future traitor to the WG. We'll see.

Gunko's trying to get Boned, Sommers is trying to get kids to murder their parents:

Killingham is carrying the God's Knights, man is a boss
"Boned" lmfao

they all seem to be equal portrayal aside from shamrock
This. Killingham's response seemed more like a reminder than an order. I don't think there are ranks aside from Leader, Supreme Commander and maybe apprentice for new recruits.

Sommers and Killingham are both just "knights".

They've been goofing around since their introduction. Sommers seems like a chill dude with his fellow knights but a completely deranged sadist towards everyone else. Their entire characterization makes them seem more humane. You can't possible have 12 HK who behave like Saint Snotnose Charlos all the time, shit would get boring real fast.

That would be fucking hilarious if they actually have met.
I was pretty convinced Gunko had seen Brook in concert, but, she is a Celestial Dragon:

If Gunko wanted to get a VIP tour, she'd get it. BUT, IMO, Gunko is a bit of a goof: I think the "tough girl" bit is an act.

Gunko wouldn't want to be identified as a Celestial Dragon in a concert, people would have to kneel and shit, she couldn't even enjoy it.

So, Gunko went to a concert in disguise, had a VIP tour, but Brook, who... well, I mean, he's not seeing with his eyes, let's be honest, SKULL JOKE, YOHOHOHOHO, can "see" that her Spirit/Soul is the same.

Based off of his fights with Linlin's Homies, Brook can sense "Souls" in others.

I wonder how Gunko will react if Brook recognizes her?

...

Or he'll realize it's her, by her pantsu

:okay:

In physical power, sure.

But if Zoro and Sanji debates have taught me anything, it's that people fully underestimate the power of intelligence in combat.

Look at this man:

The thoughts are getting lost, too, holy moley

:sanjismug::zosleepy:

Killingham is the Sanji of this group in terms of intelligence. Sommers = bloodhungry swordsman = Zoro. Gunko is Nami = Making people into her slaves.

Shamrock is the Luffy of the group, we need to get him back.

Really enjoyed this one, I like villains to at least try to be cruel :christnally:
Shamrock is a reasonable man (friends with Harald)

Gunko is a fan-crazed loose cannon

Sommers is an actual monster who loves torturing people

Killingham is a reasonable, efficient leader who calls Sommers out

I really like the God's Knights dynamic, they feel like a true Crew.

And at this point I just view the World Government as the Pirates who "won" the Void Century. Effectively, who steals more shit than they do? Fucking taxes Heavenly Tribute.

:okay:
She clearly did something memorable for Brook to remember her. Could be his crazy fans.

I like to think Gunko's pants are hanging in Brook's room in the Sunny.

Robins going to save the library. She didn’t start moving until after she heard Saul’s assistant.
I like this a lot. Good use of her Fruit, pulling all the books out of the library with her arms.

Robin does the same thing her Mom Olvia did in Ohara; risks her life to save history.

Sweet theory, Yasheen. Hope this happens.

Holy Knight dynamics are so good. Breath of fresh air that we have Celestial Dragons acting chill and serious against each other while treating lower world like a bunch of shit

Reminds me of how in WCI Kata treats outsiders disdainfully but his brothers and sisters are precious to him

This is the evil that we need in OP dynamics. No sympathetic bullshit (at least not for Gunko yet) to convert evil guys into good guys, they are irredeemable to everybody except to each other

I bet gunko is getting redeemed.

She called children lives worth less than trash to her, willing to let them burn and bring the next batch, and has an extremely superiority complex

Fangirl of Brook and still not putting up with his bs

Oda won’t redeem somebody who treats children that way. Not his style
Could be an act like Hancock's cruelty.

She kicked a kitten which also makes her unredeemable for me personally.

It's insane how boss Gucci is looking after this chapter.

Every HK member has been screaming at the top of their lungs how they're scared of Luffy and Yonkou, but Gucci specifically wanted to go 1v1 and wasn't even decisively put down by the Yonkou's strongest mode.
Difference is Lucci believes in what he's doing.

Does he know the WG has evil? Yeah, that's why he's Dark Justice.

Lucci isn't like Killingham, who clearly isn't about this life, or Sommers, who just wants to fuck with people:

Lucci honestly believes he's the good guy, and that's what makes me like him a lot. He's TRYING to do the correct thing.

Water 7/Enies Lobby are really fun to reread/rewatch after Egghead, IMO.

:jinbewat: Jinbei when the crew needs him to do something because plot armour is off

:saitahu: Holy Knights when they realised they can't mess with a yonko crew or else the yonko will come for them

:risiflip: meanwhile Ussop fans are still dreaming about him becoming a great fighter and character
