I seriously don’t see how you can argue against any point this guy makes in these videos.

Lions are pure brute strength warriors, bread for combat, accustomed to battling each other to the death and taking down absolutely massive animals such as the African Buffalo which can weigh up to 2,000 pounds.

Tigers are great but they are more like stealth assassins, often targeting smaller and weaker foes and rarely fighting each other to the death, moreso fighting until one Tiger retreats. Lions engage in territorial and pack warfare on the regular.

I literally have never seen any pro-Tiger bullshit hold any water. All pro-tiger arguments are based on out-dated arguments on size while completely ignoring the natures of each species and also disregarding that lions are more built for combat than tigers are with more fast-twitch muscle fiber and a top-heavy anatomy more built for pure strength combat instead of stealth rushdowns which is what tigers are more built for.

Tigers are bigger and stronger simple as
More agile, stronger bite and claws
They live alone, hunt alone, fight alone
Lions are lazy fucks who sleep all day and let their wives hunt for food, they’re nowhere near tigers in fight iq
Even their roars have different purposes, a lion‘s roar reaches more distance to mark territory
A tiger’s roar is more robust and carries soundwaves that produce fear and intimidation in their prey

But yeah, the bigger, more agile and more accustomed to combat cat wins

There's points for both sides and there's really no easy answer. We can find a dozen accounts of one killing the other and experts vouching for their favored big cat.

I myself am partial towards lions solely because 50% of a male lion's job as an adult is intraspecific combat, killing or warding off other subadult and adult males. They are used to picking a fight with something their own size.

But I'm of the opinion it really is too close to call.

So you used Reddit. And then Reddit contradicted your post anyway. Lol

Jaguar bite force bodies both lions and tigers. Jaguars are still getting bodied by both. Thinking bite force matters in combat is laughable.
When two animals relatively the same size are fighting bite force is THE main thing that matters.

Wolves only way 140 pounds but can bite hard enough to shatter moose bones so even human that weigh more than the wolves will take a fat L

DAMN the Tiger had the lion in complete side control until he saw the other lions
He literally didn’t, you are an actual moron.

The lion went to the ground because that’s how lions fight. They go to the ground and grapple. Go watch any video of lions fighting and you’ll see them going to the ground.

The tiger was doing that pathetic weak slap fighting shit that tigers do (since tigers fight like girls in high school) meanwhile the lion was rushing the tiger down and pushing him back. Lol
