I dont 100% like where this is heading.
If its this easy to hurt regen users by just applying some technique Gaban is using, then the Gorosei and all the Holy Knights will be easy pickings, no? The Gorosei are cool, but they were as all easily damaged except for Warcury.
I can just imagine this turning into a scene where Gaban is teaching everyone how to damage them. This is fine to exist, but....I hope its not something thats easily attainable.
I'd like the story to stop making it so convenient and easy for the main characters, Im so over the "good guy win, bad guy lose" with no twists, especially when its not even a hard fight in the first place. A proper back and forth, or something hard to overcome is way more entertaining than just everyone low to mid-diffing their respective fights.
My entire post is completely pointless if it turns out that the holy knights and gorosei can actually fight properly when they are aware that they can be hurt, which I really hope is the case.

There's probably still layers of regen.

The higher the authority the stronger the Regen

It's obvious the first option will happen
Power of Love is a headcanon powerup that deluded Sanji fans are trying to use as a way to say "Sanji might not have CoC, but he's got this other super cool and powerful ability that's basically equal to it!".
They need to simply embrace that ACoC is here to stay and that Sanji will have to get it if he wants to be equal to Zoro or close to him at least
