Flower why so rude to Fuji?
I was malding at the stump :catcry:. Also forgot that Reg games are played more slowly with kills and approached it with a wrong mindset. I feel like this game could have easily gone until D10 or D11 had Town not helped us with the kills, so next time I have to better prepare for playing the long game I guess.
 
Was a bit weird for us, too, since we thought Town had Trackers/Watchers and got us paranoid. Then I just made Yoho claim his results and prayed that Town didn’t have a Watcher and only a Tracker ;-;.

Way I designed this game was with mafia actually playing the thread, softening targets with their AOE and getting kills here and there, that + their false clears like Yohos watcher vs Your ninja or Yo and Yohos chat, or Flower the healer and poisoner,etc meant that yall needed to go deep and not be afraid to cut your losses with some mate.

Obviously it didnt go that way and yall defended Worst like he was your mother lol.
 
I guess it was also supposed to give bussing incentives, but it was also hard. If we bus Worst we lose our way to get info on roles and then there were roles like Fang‘s and Boq‘s that straight up punished us if we killed them, so we never really knew who was safe to kill :catcry:.
 
Kudos to Flower and the scum team and all that but how do you reasonably expect town to deal with that level of scum hall pass by purposely designing a ninja flip that leads to nothing

That's not good subversion, Yoho got cleared for doing absolutely nothing.

This probably falls under the scope of bastard as included in the title but even in bastard games, the expectation is that crazy shit happens both ways, this just feels like it's a waste of time even bothering to process information and that I should play like Alexis and just vote based on vibes if your design philosophy is to literally punish players for paying attention to flips/claims (Half the players here aren't even at that level)

There was a good chance that Yoho flipped before Hime tbf. I wanted the team to bus him after the Worst lynch to get a bit more cred for them, but then Hime got randomly shot which made the plan moot.

Jaguars ability counted as self watcher. Also I warned that this game will have bastard mechs. Also Michelles passive had a chance to become a tracker passive where whoever she targeted she will learn who they targetted the next night. However that part of the passive was never triggered as it required a certain character interaction. It required for all the maids to die, Charlie was still alive.

This was an experiment tbh. I felt like town had the tools needed to deal with this, sure the watcher/tracker was strong but it wasn’t the end of the world imo. Not that I’d do this kind of thing again.
tbh i think its "fine". probably instead of calling it "bastard" might be better to call it "setup/flavor/role PMs may have intentional setup traps placed to avoid cheap solving" or smth like that
