Aren’t Jews not eating pork too btw ? I thought I had read that on the Jewish Bible but apparently Jews get mad when I tell them that
Western Jews are pretty different
They will also deny that Judaism believes in Sheddim/Jinn, Western Jews in general tried to Downplay a lot of the "weird" aspects of their religion to Christians to avoid prosecution for centuries

I was born and raised in America

I have no idea what it’s like in Europe or what it’s like being an Indian immigrant

Wait Druze aren’t Muslims?
From my understanding they identify as Muslim but the Muslim world sees them as heretics

kinda like Mormons and Christians I guess

You’re Israeli, right?

Im reform, which is a popular Jewish sect in America, but it has no presence in Israel.

I do know the hasidics believe in a lot more of the mystical stuff.
Judaism also has concepts similar to Heaven and Hell.
Not to my understanding. Maybe some rabbi wrote about it in the Talmud, but it’s not standard doctrine. Like it’s never mentioned in the Torah.

From my understanding the afterlife just isn’t the focus of Judaism. I know some Jews believe in reincarnation, I think @Jew D. Boy said he does.

The post isn't about immigration.

But aren't they supposed to not eat pork ? Can someone who is well versed in judaism explain this on this forum ? I don't feel like asking to chatgpt or someone actually reliable from real life

All the jews present in this thread are missing thnx to the trolls and Israel detractors.
Cant differentiate between a jew and a zionist in the big 25 is crazy. Criticizing Israel =/= criticizing jews

I had to track back a few pages and i believe your original question was if islam is closer to judaism than it is to christianity? As far as im concerned, yes. They have similar concept like halal called kosher, they grow beards, they would rather enter a mosque than a church, etc. Many israeli jews would spit at christians and some christians would still support them unconditionally like a good dog they are lol

Also, you might want to check out this channel where he goes out interviewing israelis and palestinians

Nevermind then, I'll ask some jews who've been reading the Talmud since they were 3 years old

Even though to be fair, there is a convert in this thread and some guy named @Jew D. Boy but not sure that he is jewish.

I'm not the one who made this parallel between judaism and islam.

Anyway I found this
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_restrictions_on_the_consumption_of_pork

But somehow I met Jews in real life who've eaten beacon in front of me because they "aren't muslim but jewish" and they were the kind of jews who supported an ongoing genocide pretending that people in the videos were either actors or made by AI. After this day I had to rethink everything I knew, I either met the most retarded Jews who didn't know shit about their religion or I was wrong about pork being forbidden ? But every time I checked a source, it said it was forbidden. This event that took place years ago now left a mark on me. And made me question myself. Why are people I meet outside of my social circles retarded ?

Some "religious people" don't really give a fuck about their religion.

Most of them are Zionist. I don't know what the big deal is here. Some of the stuff that happens here goes beyond criticism. It's is straight up propaganda, disinformation and defamation. It's borderline antisemitic at times.

I’m not sure what I stand to gain from pretending to be Jewish online, it’s not like Internet trolls and other racists are particularly friendly to my people so I wouldn’t advertise it if it wasn’t true…

Okay, I wasn't sure because I don't know how implicated you are in judaism. As a matter of fact, I don't recall you talking much about judaism in the politics threads but more about Trump and LGBT topics.

Anyway, do you know anything about these Jews who eat pork ? Is it allowed in anyway ? Or are they just doing Jewish haram stuff ?

Yeah, the laws of kosher preclude us from eating ham or mixing meat and dairy…but I don’t observe that closely anymore, so I’ll have a bacon cheeseburger whenever I feel like it
